Baby Damien is here!!

Damien Herbie Bart was born on July 28 at 8:34am, weighing 7lbs5oz and measuring 19 3/4 inches. He is a great baby so far, hardly crying, eating well. We have not figured out who he looks like yet! Damien est ne le 28 juillet a 8h34, pesant 3kg300 et mesurant 50 cm. C'est un tres bon bebe qui pleure rarement et mange bien. On ne sait pas encore a qui il ressemble!

Wow this weekend was a hot one wasn’t it? Would you like to know how I spent my Saturday? Mural came and gave Isabelle and I a gift of his time! He created a space of love and relationship and some great wall art. I think it was more difficult than he originally thought but he never complained and just continued to work even as the room climbed in temperature as my AC struggled to keep up with the heat of the day. Many thanks to not only Mural!

Notre ami Mural est venu samedi malgre la canicule pour mettre la derniere touche dans la chambre de Damien..un signe de BART station (le systeme de transport public a San Francisco)...tres sympa de sa part!

Trip to the Huntington Library and Gardens

Nous avons passe dimanche 8 juin dans les jardins de la Huntington Library...bien que nous pouvions nous croire en Chine ou au Japon. C'est immense, avec des jardins de differents climats. Le ventre d'Isabelle devient de plus en plus gros...plus que 6 semaines avant bebe!
We spent June 8th at the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, even though it looked like we were back to Japan or in China. Isabelle's tummy is getting bigger. Only 6 weeks to go!

Party for Toys!

We hosted a party on Sat April 12 to collect toys for the children at CHOC. It was a lot of fun and the first time we were able to enjoy our patio at night:) Voici des photos de notre barbecue du 12 avril. Les invites ont amene des jouets pour donner a l'hopital des enfant malades. C'etait tres sympa de profiter de notre nouveau patio :)

New furniture. Nouveaux meubles.

We finally got a sofabed for the new loft and nice patio furniture to enjoy the shade in our patio.
Nous avons enfin achete un canape lit pour le loft ainsi que des meubles d'exterieur pour profiter de la terrasse.

16 weeks already! This is what I look like right now...probably around 5 pounds gained so far.

It's a boy! Un Garcon!

We are past 12 weeks now and the last ultrasound shows everything looks fine, and that baby is a boy!
Nous voila a 12 semaines passees et la dernier echographie montre que tout est normal et que le bebe est un garcon!

New Condo/Nouvel Appart!

This is our latest investment: a condo to rent. We got this nice opportunity with the current real estate market and low prices. The condo is in Portola Hills, 4 miles away from home. It is a 1000 sq ft, 2bed/2 bath with 2 car direct access garage and nice patio area by a green belt and waterfall. We are going to redo the paint and carpet and we are looking for a tenant. Exciting!

Voici notre dernier investissement: un appart a louer. Nous avons saisi cette opportunite dans un marche immobilier ou les prix sont relativement bas. L'appart est un 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain, 93 metres carres et a un garage pour 2 voitures, ainsi qu'une terrasse agreable pres d'un chemin vert. C'est a Portola Hills, a environ 6km de chez nous...nous allons repeindre et changer la moquette et nous cherchons un locataire.
