New Condo/Nouvel Appart!

This is our latest investment: a condo to rent. We got this nice opportunity with the current real estate market and low prices. The condo is in Portola Hills, 4 miles away from home. It is a 1000 sq ft, 2bed/2 bath with 2 car direct access garage and nice patio area by a green belt and waterfall. We are going to redo the paint and carpet and we are looking for a tenant. Exciting!

Voici notre dernier investissement: un appart a louer. Nous avons saisi cette opportunite dans un marche immobilier ou les prix sont relativement bas. L'appart est un 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain, 93 metres carres et a un garage pour 2 voitures, ainsi qu'une terrasse agreable pres d'un chemin vert. C'est a Portola Hills, a environ 6km de chez nous...nous allons repeindre et changer la moquette et nous cherchons un locataire.

Hike/Randonnee in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

On Saturday after Thanksgiving, we went on a group hike with a naturalist. The park is off Laguna Canyon road and it goes back towards the ocean. Some rocks are really fun to look at like the Pacman ghost one!

Le samedi apres Thanksgiving, on est alle faire une randonnee avec un guide naturaliste dans ce parc qui est au bord de la route Laguna Canyon. A certains endroits on peut voir l'ocean. Il y a aussi beaucoup de rochers avec des formes marrantes comme celui-ci qui ressemble a un fantome de Pacman!

Fire!

Fire got pretty close to our house on Monday October 22nd. Firefighters did an outstanding job.

Back from Japan! De retour!

We are back from a fantastic week in Japan, visiting Toyo, Mt Fuji and Kyoto.

And I finally got my green card...youpi!

Week-end at Crystal Cove

We had a great day at the beach, with some good walking, swimming and breakfast at the Beachcomber cafe (amazing french toasts and coconut-macadamia pancakes!!!)
